Hello! My name is Brieann Chapple and I'm the maker of MOXIE ROSIN. I manage a violin shop in Austin, TX called Austin Strings. I am very passionate about helping my customers to sound their very best, and running Austin Strings gives me access to test many different brands and types of rosins. While I found several that I was happy with, I was also inspired to design my own recipes. I now have a unique recipe for the violin, the viola, and the cello. The rosin I sell is my personal favorite for each of these instruments! In addition to the rosin being amazing, I include the handy silicone container so if you have an accident and break your rosin, you can simply microwave it back together!

A little about me: I’ve been playing music all my life; I’m so fortunate to have grown up in a musical family! My mom played cello professionally and taught out of our home while I was growing up and my dad had his own fan-powered pipe organ in the living room! I played piano for many years and started cello when I was about 9 years old. In college I studied music, design, and audio engineering and right out of school began teaching cello lessons and learning the basics of violin set up and repair while working at Austin Strings. In 2001 I also began playing the viola and violin, and now teach cello lessons and play professionally on both the cello and viola. I am a very service-oriented person and I love helping people with their musical instruments. I hope MOXIE ROSIN will be just one more way I can help other musicians to sound their best! xoxo!
